DRAFT, version draft 2026-10-21. The text has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you place an order, this version applies to the order; if we change the text later, the change only applies to new orders.
General terms of sale for MyDoorPass, version draft 2026-10-21. These terms apply only between businesses and organisations. They apply to all orders placed on mydoorpass.com in a language other than Swedish. Translations are provided for convenience; if a translation differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
1. Who the terms apply to
- 1.1These terms apply when you order wristbands from MyDoorPass ("we", "us") on mydoorpass.com.
- 1.2We only sell to businesses, associations, public bodies and other organisations ("you"). You confirm that you are ordering in the course of your business or organisation.
- 1.3The version of the terms that you accepted when you placed the order applies. Your own purchasing terms do not apply unless we have accepted them in writing.
2. Order and contract
- 2.1You design the wristbands on the website and see a proof. The proof shows the text, colours, logo, design and quantity per band.
- 2.2When you approve the proof and these terms and click the payment button, the order is saved and you pay for it at checkout. The contract is formed when the order has been paid. The order number and the link to the order are shown straight away; the receipt comes from the checkout, and we email the proof and the link to the order when the payment is complete.
- 2.3We check the files within one working day, before the order goes to the factory. If the content breaches section 3.4 or 3.5, or the price is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order before it goes into production. You then pay nothing, and anything you have paid is refunded.
- 2.4Changes and cancellation: the order is binding once it has been paid, and an unpaid order does not go into production. Before the order has gone to the factory you can change it on the order page; a paid order as long as the price stays the same. Contact us with the order number if anything else needs to change. The wristbands are made for you and cannot be sold to anyone else, so once the order has gone into production you pay the full price, even if you cancel.
3. Proof and your responsibility for the content
- 3.1The wristbands are made according to the proof you approved. What you approve is what gets printed.
- 3.2You are responsible for the text, spelling, dates, colours, logo and quantity per band being correct. We do not proofread your content.
- 3.3If we see a technical problem that prevents printing, for example a logo with too low a resolution or text outside the print area, we contact you before the order goes into production. Delivery is then counted from the day you approve a new proof.
- 3.4You confirm that you have the right to use all logos, trademarks, images and text in the design, including those of sponsors. You indemnify us if anyone claims compensation from us because we printed your content. The design must not contain personal data, such as names or pictures of people, unless we have agreed on it in advance.
- 3.5We do not print content that is illegal, offensive or infringes anyone else's rights.
4. Colours, dimensions and quantities
- 4.1Screens show colours differently. The proof shows placement and content, not the exact shade.
- 4.2Vinyl: the band colour follows the factory's colour chart (number and Pantone reference). The ink is matched to the chosen colour. The shade may differ slightly between production runs.
- 4.3Woven wristbands: the wristbands are printed in full colour by sublimation. Pantone colours cannot be guaranteed, and very thin lines and small text may be less sharp.
- 4.4The position of the print and the dimensions of the wristbands may deviate slightly within manufacturing tolerances.
- 4.5You pay for the quantity ordered. If we deliver fewer, we credit the difference per wristband. Extra wristbands are included free of charge.
- 4.6Deviations under this section are not defects.
5. Price and payment
- 5.1The prices are shown at checkout and apply at the time of the order. They are stated excluding VAT in euro (EUR), or in Danish kroner (DKK) on the Danish site. Until payment in that currency is available at checkout, prices are shown and charged in Swedish kronor (SEK), and the website says so. The volume discount is based on the total quantity per product in the order.
- 5.2Shipping and any other charges are shown at checkout before you place the order. Shipping costs €19 per order, whatever the quantity (the equivalent amount in DKK); each extra delivery address is a separate parcel and costs the same.
- 5.3VAT is added as required by law. Outside Sweden we only sell to businesses with a VAT number from the delivery country that is valid in the EU's VIES register; they pay no Swedish VAT (reverse charge). Without such a VAT number, contact us before ordering. Deliveries to Sweden carry 25% Swedish VAT.
- 5.4You pay the full amount, including any VAT, at checkout when you place the order, by card. The receipt is sent from the checkout. The order goes into production when the payment is complete.
6. Delivery
- 6.1The delivery window is shown at checkout and in the order confirmation. It is counted from the day the order was placed, and for orders of up to 10,000 wristbands per product it is normally 3–4 weeks in Sweden. For delivery outside Sweden the wristbands arrive one week later, also with express. Around holidays in the country of manufacture it may take longer.
- 6.2If you have stated a requested delivery date, we plan production so that the wristbands arrive by that date. If the date is before the end of the delivery window, the delivery window applies.
- 6.3Delivery is DAP (Incoterms 2020) to the address you provided. The risk for the wristbands passes to you when they have been delivered to that address.
- 6.4If we see that the delivery will be late, we tell you straight away, and in the first instance we send the wristbands by faster freight at our expense.
- 6.5If the wristbands arrive after the event date in the order for reasons attributable to us, you do not pay for the wristbands that arrived late. You may also cancel the order for them. This is your only remedy for delay.
- 6.6If you have not stated an event date, or stated a date before the last day of the delivery window, only section 6.4 applies.
7. Inspection and complaints
- 7.1Check the wristbands when they arrive: the number of bags per band, and one wristband per band against the proof.
- 7.2Transport damage must be noted with the carrier on delivery and reported to us within 2 working days.
- 7.3Visible defects must be reported within 5 working days of delivery and before the wristbands are used. Other defects must be reported within a reasonable time after you discovered them and no later than 3 months after delivery. Send the order number, a photo and the number of defective wristbands.
- 7.4A defect is when the wristbands deviate from the approved proof more than section 4 allows, or when the closure does not hold in normal use.
- 7.5In the event of a defect we print new wristbands and send them by express at our expense. If the event has already taken place, or new wristbands cannot arrive in time, we credit the defective wristbands. We decide which.
- 7.6Errors that were in the proof you approved are not defects under this section.
- 7.7Defective wristbands are not returned unless we ask for them. Keep them until the complaint has been settled.
8. Limitation of liability
- 8.1We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This includes, for example, loss of profit or revenue, the costs of a cancelled, postponed or disrupted event, extra staff and claims from your guests or partners.
- 8.2Our total liability for an order is limited to the price of the order excluding VAT.
- 8.3These limitations do not apply if we caused the loss intentionally or through gross negligence, nor to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, such as product liability for personal injury.
9. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or defects caused by circumstances beyond our control. Examples are stoppages at the factory or the carrier, decisions by customs or other authorities, strikes, fire, epidemics, sanctions, closed borders and disruption to freight. We tell you as soon as we know. If the obstacle lasts more than 4 weeks, either party may cancel the part of the order that has not been delivered, without liability for damages. The price paid for that part is refunded.
10. Intellectual property and references
- 10.1You keep the rights to your design, your logos and your text. You give us the right to use them to make the wristbands and for reprints that you order.
- 10.2The configurator, the templates and the wristband drawings belong to us.
- 10.3We never show your wristbands, your name or your logo as a reference without your written consent.
11. Retention of title
The wristbands belong to us until they have been paid for, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
- 13.1Swedish law applies, excluding the Swedish International Sale of Goods Act (1987:822) (the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, CISG).
- 13.2Disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts, with the district court where we have our registered office as the court of first instance.
