Woven for players, vinyl for stewards
Players and coaches: woven wristbands (polyester) in full colour. They are soft against the skin, trimmed to fit the wrist, and have room for the cup's name, the year and a sponsor logo.
Stewards, referees and first aid: vinyl wristbands with a snap closure in a colour of their own, with the role printed on the band. They show from a distance and tell the staff apart from the players.
Both close with a single-use lock. The band can't be loosened and passed on. It has to be cut off.
One band per group
| Group | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| Players | Woven wristband in a ready-made sports design, sponsor logo |
| Coaches | Same design in reversed colours, text COACH |
| Stewards | Vinyl, signal colour, text STEWARD |
| Referees | Vinyl, own colour, text REFEREE |
| First aid | Vinyl, own colour, text FIRST AID |
Small groups can be combined. Each variant is at least 100 pcs, so referees and first aid can share one band with the text STAFF if there are only a few of them. How to choose the colours is covered in the guide to colour-coded wristbands.
The sponsor can pay for the bands
A band that every participant wears for several days shows up in photos, in the food queue and in the stands. That makes it a spot you can offer a sponsor. What sponsors usually want to see is in the guide to sponsor logos.
Ask the sponsor for the logo as a vector file, and send the sponsor the link from Share draft before you order, so they have seen the proof.
One band per cup or one per day?
One band for the whole cup is usually enough. Participants get it at check-in and wear it until the last match. If you sell day tickets to spectators, one colour per day works better. Work out the quantities with the guide to wristbands per day.
Timeline for summer cups
Delivery takes 2–3 weeks from approved proof. Summer cups often make their decisions in spring. Order so that the bands arrive at least a week before check-in, so you have time to count them and sort them by team or accommodation.
Things to keep in mind
- Children and young people: fit the band so that it can't be pulled over the hand, but not so tight that it chafes. The band stays on day and night.
- Team names and player names are not printed. Each variant is printed in at least 100 identical bands.
- Check with venues and schools which bands they accept, if the band is meant to give access there.
Questions and answers
Can players, coaches and stewards have different bands?+
Yes. Add one variant per group in the same order, at least 100 pcs each. The volume price is calculated on all bands of the same type in the order together.
Is there room for the sponsor on the band?+
Yes, on the woven wristband. Upload the sponsor's logo as the logo and it sits next to the event name in the middle of the band.
How does the club pay?+
You pay by card at checkout when you order. The receipt arrives by email.
